Roger Sant is a badass billionaire businessman who actually cares about our environment (take that, Trump). Prior to starting his hyper-successful solar business, AES, he was the assistant administrator for Energy Conservation and the Environment at the Federal Energy Administration. He also ran the Energy Productivity Center, an energy research organization affiliated with the Mellon Institute at Carnegie-Mellon University.
When he founded his nonprofit, the Sant Foundation, to help create solutions for the carbon pollution crisis that is affecting all of us, he needed his keynote to be as powerful visually as the history and data that fueled it.
